I am a fully qualified Tai Chi instructor with 11 years of experience. I first experienced Tai Chi in 2004 as part of a rehabilitation programme following my husband’s heart attack. Ever since, I have been drawn to practice and learn more about this wonderful art.
I initially trained with Marie Paulinius and qualified to teach myself in 2009. I continue to attend training workshops with Grandmaster Liming Yue on a regular basis. I also attend a regular Aqua-fit training week each year, in Florida, which includes a strong tai chi element.
I teach Yang style long form, Foundation form and Yang 10.
A usual class would consist of thorough warm up for tendons and muscles, Qi gong including Five elements, Five animals and Shibashi, and a warm down. My main focus is on teaching Tai Chi for health rather than combat, and my classes are suitable for all ages and ability levels.
